This page contains the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy for Pace, provided by Fabco Tech. If you do not agree with these terms, do not use Pace.

Terms of Use

1. The Pace service

Pace is a habit-building application that helps you define a weekly or monthly investing routine and record your progress. Pace does not connect to brokerage accounts, hold money or securities, execute transactions, or confirm whether an investment was actually made.

Pace provides organizational and motivational tools only. Nothing in Pace is financial, investment, tax, accounting, or legal advice, or a recommendation to buy or sell any asset. You remain solely responsible for your investment decisions and should consult qualified professionals when appropriate. Investing involves risk, including possible loss of principal.

2. Eligibility and acceptance

By downloading, accessing, or using Pace, you agree to these Terms. You must be legally able to enter into this agreement in your jurisdiction. Pace is not directed to children under 13.

3. License and Apple terms

Fabco Tech grants you a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Pace for lawful, non-commercial purposes on devices you own or control, subject to these Terms and applicable app-store rules.

For the iOS version of Pace, Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the Apple Standard EULA) is incorporated into these Terms and is available at apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula. If these Terms conflict with the Apple Standard EULA regarding the license for the iOS application, the Apple Standard EULA controls. These Pace-specific Terms continue to govern the Pace service and your use of it.

4. Your responsibilities

You are responsible for:

You may not misuse Pace, interfere with its operation or security, attempt unauthorized access to its systems, use it to violate another person’s rights, or reverse engineer it except where applicable law expressly permits that activity.

5. Availability and changes

We may update, change, suspend, or discontinue features of Pace. We do not guarantee that Pace, synchronization, schedules, notifications, or other features will always be available, timely, complete, or error-free. Device settings and operating-system restrictions can delay or prevent notifications. You should not rely on Pace as your only record or reminder for financial activity.

6. Intellectual property

Pace, including its software, visual design, characters, text, graphics, and trademarks, is owned by Fabco Tech or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not transfer ownership of Pace or its content to you.

7. Termination and deletion

You may stop using Pace at any time. You can delete your Pace profile and associated app data from the Legal & Support section in Settings. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

We may restrict or terminate access if you materially violate these Terms, misuse the service, or create a security or legal risk. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination, including intellectual-property, disclaimer, and liability provisions, will survive.

8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pace is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind. Fabco Tech disclaims implied warranties including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fabco Tech will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, lost profits, lost data, missed investments, investment losses, or decisions made using Pace. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable consumer law.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may revise these Terms as Pace or applicable requirements change. The updated document will be posted at this URL with a new “Last updated” date. Your continued use of Pace after an update means you accept the revised Terms where permitted by law.

Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Fabco Tech collects, uses, and shares information when you use Pace.

1. Information Pace processes

Profile and settings

Pace creates a random identifier on your device when you create a Pace profile. Pace does not require your name, email address, password, brokerage credentials, or payment information.

The information you provide can include your country, currency, yearly net income, intended amount per investing period, weekly or monthly cadence, preferred start date, unit system, and display preferences.

Schedule and progress

We process the schedule and progress generated through your use of Pace, including investment dates, completed or missed deadlines, amounts associated with those deadlines, bonuses, and speed or progress history. These records reflect what you tell Pace; Pace does not verify activity with a broker or financial institution.

Usage, device, and diagnostic information

We process limited product events such as onboarding completion, app opens and closes, time spent on the home screen, notification preference changes, schedule changes, and completed deadlines. Events are associated with your random Pace identifier.

Requests may include your Pace app version, device manufacturer and model, operating system and version, IP address, and standard network metadata. We also use Sentry to receive crash reports, errors, logs, and related diagnostic information. Pace is configured not to intentionally send default personally identifying information to Sentry.

Information stored on your device

Pace stores your random identifier, a cached copy of your Pace profile, language and theme preferences, onboarding state, notification preferences, and identifiers for scheduled notifications on your device. Mobile application data is stored using the operating system’s application storage. Scheduled reminders are processed locally by your device’s notification system.

2. How we use information

We use this information to:

3. Sharing and service providers

We do not sell your personal information and do not use it for third-party behavioral advertising. We disclose information only as needed to operate Pace, including to infrastructure and database providers that host the service and to Sentry for error and performance monitoring. These providers process information on our behalf under their applicable contractual and security obligations.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to respond to valid legal process, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets subject to appropriate protections.

4. Retention and deletion

We retain your Pace profile and associated product events while needed to provide and improve the service. Diagnostic information is retained according to our monitoring configuration and provider settings.

You can permanently delete your Pace profile from Settings > Legal & Support > Delete Account and Data. When confirmed successfully, Pace deletes the profile and product events associated with its random identifier from the active service database, removes the profile and identifier from the device, and cancels Pace reminders. Language and theme preferences may remain on your device. A new, unrelated identifier is created only if you create another Pace profile.

We may retain limited information when reasonably necessary to meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud or abuse, or enforce agreements. Information no longer linked to an identifiable Pace profile may be retained in aggregate form.

5. Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures designed to protect information. No storage or transmission system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Protect access to your device because Pace does not use a separate account password.

6. International processing

Fabco Tech and its service providers may process information in countries other than the one where you live. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.

7. Your choices and rights

You can change many Pace settings in the app and delete your Pace profile through Settings. Depending on where you live, applicable law may give you rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or portability regarding your personal information. You may also have the right to complain to a data-protection authority.

To make a privacy request, contact dev@fabco.tech. We may need information sufficient to locate the random Pace identifier and verify that the request relates to your device profile.

8. Children

Pace is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information to Pace, contact us so we can investigate and delete it where appropriate.

9. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as Pace or applicable requirements change. We will publish the updated version at this URL and revise the “Last updated” date.
